At a Loss for Words? Try Terminology for iPad | PadGadget

Have you ever been working on a term paper, presentation or e-mail and couldn’t seem to find the right word to express your idea? Terminology, a new app from indy developer Agile Tortoise, might be able to help you out when you’re in that situation.

Terminology lets you “browse” the English language in your quest for the perfect word or phrase.  This iPad app combines a dictionary and thesaurus and displays it in a very clean and easy to use interface, making it the perfect companion for students, business professionals and even your everyday Words With Friends fanatic in search of that elusive 100+ point word.

Terminology doesn’t require a network to browse the built-in dictionary or thesaurus, however, if you have network access you can leverage the app’s built-in web browser to quickly access additional information on a word from sources like Wikipedia or Wiktionary. You can also search for synonyms, antonyms and mark your favorite words for quick access.  The features available in Terminology will make it one of your favorite Reference apps in no time.

If you’re always fumbling to find the right word, Terminology is worth a look.  It was ranked #1 in the Reference category and was also a Top 25 Paid App, so don’t put off that English paper any longer.  You can download Terminology from the App Store for $2.99.
